Austin David’s Short Bio

Austin David Butler and Lori Anne (Howell), an esthetician, welcomed Robert Butler into the world in Anaheim, California. He has always loved watching films of all kinds. He was 13 years old when he was approached by a manager from a background acting agency when he was wandering around the Orange County Fair. This manager assisted him in breaking into the entertainment business. When he realized how much he loved it, he started enrolling in acting classes. His background acting role on Nickelodeon’s Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide (2004) soon became rather long-term (2005–2007), and a coworker, Lindsey Shaw, connected him to her manager, who volunteered to represent him. He began to view himself as a serious actor after that. He played “Toby” in the Hannah Montana (2006) episode “Oops, I Meddled Again” in 2006, albeit he wasn’t given credit for the role (she dumped him). First speaking part was as “Dannifer” or “Wrong Danny” in Zoey 101 (2005); he only had a few lines, and a girl poured Coke down his shirt. In 2007, he received a more substantial role on Hannah Montana (2006), which was still a little part but a lot of fun (he had a few more lines and got to throw popcorn at Miley Cyrus). His major break (relatively speaking) came in 2007, when casting directors began to recognize him from his countless auditions and offered him the role of “Jake Krandle” in the upcoming Nickelodeon sitcom iCarly (2007), which is set to premiere in the latter part of 2007. The title of his debut episode is “iLike Jake.”
